So, as you can see in the picture we were all super excited to go to Delft today and get the keys to our house! We are still living near Amsterdam but hope to be moved in by next week. We have been storing our things in Groningen for the past year and on Wednesday the movers will be bringing our things down to Delft so we will have some furniture. They have great second hand stores here so we were able to get a kitchen table, Kees a new bed, and Steve a office desk. I also found a really cute kids table with two chairs that is painted light blue at the second hand store for only 5 euro! ($6)! I also found a adorable antique wooden highchair.The second hand store is delivering our things on Monday of next week and we hope to move in by Wednesday the 15th.
Kees was bored in the car because all his books,toys and DVDs are all packed up to take to the house so we decided to make Kees' socks into puppets..........hey, you got to do what you got to do!
Kees still super excited to go see his new room for the first time!
