Fort Willem

 This past Sunday at church I asked my friend Ursula if she knew of any fun parks in Maastricht and she told me about Fort Willem. We went together yesterday and had a great time. Pictured above is Isabella (next to me) and Junior and his cousin Luana. It was a hot one in Maastricht so we found a picnic table in the shade. The weather has been cold and rainy so I was so excited to have a warm summer day to enjoy!

 Here they are playing mini-golf. It was Kees' first time so he wasn't sure what to do but figured it out fast after watching his buddy Junior take the first few swings.

Baby Shower!

 Today was a special day to celebrate baby Sela! The team girls organized a beautiful baby shower for Sela and I.

 So many adorable baby girl things... I love all this pink!

 Is this cake cute or what?! There is a girl in our student ministry who is a baker and along with Amy a amazing cake artist together they made this cake. The inside was strawberry cake (love that pink!) and chocolate...a wonderful combination! It was hard to cut into this cake!

 I was blown away at all the details they put into it.

 This is Nellie from the church. She is due exactly one month before me. I joke with her that she gets to try out the Maastricht hospital before it is my turn. It has been really great to have her to celebrate the weeks as our babies grow. She is having a little boy.

 These are some precious girls to me. Left to right is: Arlie, Amy, me, Nikki, and Lauren. They are all from Texas and serving here in Maastricht with us. They have become life long friends. They have been a huge help to me with helping out with Kees and all that they do. They blessed me so much today by all they did to make this such a special shower.

Friends

 Kees' friend Junior from church came over to play today. It was a hot one in Maastricht today so the boys kept cool with ice pops. Kees has been out of school for the summer so he enjoyed having his friend over to play.

Sela

 Here is Sela's changing table all ready for her arrival. I decided on a bird house/owl/bird theme and of course a lot of pink! I'm now at 27 weeks. I have a appointment tomorrow afternoon. 

 The team brought over my favorite flowers just for Sela and I to enjoy.
