Egg Tree

So...Steve came into the living room and said, "What is that?" I explained that it is the latest in Easter decorations. They are everywhere here in Holland. I thought it was such a great idea! Steve is now a fan of the egg tree in the living room. :)

My Little Boy....

I love this picture of Kees! It truly depicts Kees perfectly. He is always busy discovering new things. He will give the look he has in this picture when I talk in a funny voice trying to get him to smile. He looks at me like, "What are you doing mom?" He will flash me a smile then go back to his deep in thought look. Steve takes care of Kees for me on Fridays when I go to my Dutch class. I can't wait to get back home to him after my class and hold him in my arms. His arms are long enough now that when I hold him he puts his arms around my neck and lays his head on my shoulder....there is nothing in this world more wonderful than those moments!

Two Months!

Kees had his appointment today to get his vaccinations.....it was not fun for his mommy. He now weighs 12lbs 2.35 oz. His length is 58. The nurse was trying to get him to put his leg out to measure his length and he wasn't wanting to....she looked at me and said, "He is one strong boy... he is really a real boy... tough and strong!" He enjoys spending his mornings at 7 in his swing of course with the music set on the sounds of birds cheerping. We usually take a walk together into the city in the afternoon. In the evenings Kees gets his bath. He loves the bath. He gets so excited and starts smiling when I take his clothes off because he knows whats coming! He gets up about three times during the night....last night only twice! Kees has Steve and I laughing all the time at his funny expressions.
